A, In steady state water and solute molecule freely disuse between aqueous humor and plasma via semipermeable membrane. B, during hemodialysis, solute diffuse to dialysate fluid result in decrease of plasma tonicity. Free water osmosis to aqueous humor and cause of increase intraocular pressure. C, in situation of convection mode (isolated ultrafiltration) free water was convicted from aqueous humor to plasma and ultrafiltrate to dialysis fluid.
