The APC for JCN is $2589 USD. This fee is applicable to all accepted manuscripts and is payable after the peer-review process is successfully completed.

APC Payment Policy

The APC is payable only after manuscript acceptance. Authors will receive an official invoice with payment instructions.

• Payment must be completed before final publication.
• The APC is non-refundable once the manuscript is processed.
• Authors from funding-supported institutions should ensure compliance with their institutional policies regarding APC payments.

Waiver and Discount Policy

To promote global access to publishing, JCN offers waivers or discounts in specific cases:

• Low-Income Countries: Partial waivers for authors from World Bank-classified low-income nations.
• Early-Career Researchers: Special discounts for first-time corresponding authors.
• Exceptional Cases: Discounts for authors with demonstrated financial hardship.

Authors requesting a waiver must submit a formal request at the time of initial manuscript submission. Requests made after peer review will not be considered.

Additional Charges (If Applicable)

While the APC of $2589 USD covers standard publication costs, the following additional charges may apply:

• Manuscript Withdrawal: A fee may apply for withdrawal requests after peer review (see Withdrawal Policy).
• Language Editing Services: Available upon request.
• Expedited Review: A separate fee may or may not apply for fast-track peer review.

Refund Policy

The APC is non-refundable once payment has been made. Refunds will not be issued in cases where:

• The author withdraws the manuscript after payment.
• The manuscript is retracted due to ethical concerns.
• The author chooses not to proceed after final acceptance.
