Ethical Standards for Authors
The Journal of Clinical Nephrology (JCN) upholds the highest standards of ethical publishing and expects authors to comply with international ethical guidelines in research and manuscript preparation. Authors must adhere to these ethical principles to maintain scientific integrity and credibility.

All submitted manuscripts must be original and must not contain any form of plagiarism. Authors are required to:

Authorship and Contribution
Authorship must be based on significant contributions to the research. Authors should:
- Meet authorship criteria: All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the study.
- Avoid ghostwriting and honorary authorship: Only individuals who contributed should be listed as authors.
- Ensure consent from all authors: All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
Data Integrity and Research Ethics
Authors must maintain data accuracy and follow ethical research practices:
- Ensure data integrity: No falsification, fabrication, or selective reporting of results is allowed.
- Obtain ethical approval: Studies involving humans or animals must have Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval.
